Complaints and Disciplinary Process
Whilst the Dental & Oral Health Therapists Association take seriously concerns and complaints from members of the public, the regulatory environment in New Zealand provides a structured and formal process for dealing with concerns.
In the first instance of a complaint you should first contact the dental provider who provided the treatment to try to resolve your dissatisfaction.

Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal
The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal hears and determines disciplinary proceedings brought against health practitioners.
The Dental Council can provide advice on the options available to you for support, investigation and resolution of your complaint.
